A lovely few days

We had a lovely weekend with DS, DDiL and the Grand-dogs. We spent Saturday at a Steam Fayre:

There were steam rides, vintage cars, tractors, motor cycles, lorries, traction engines etc. DDiL (and Miss S.) did her presentation with the gun dog team.
DS (and Little Miss M.)just returning after his bit:
Master L. was also displaying but moving so fast he was just a blur on the photographs!

In the evening we went out for a meal at Wagamama - a new place to us but very nice. Shall certainly give them another go sometime.

On the Sunday, we went for a walk (almost too long for my toes), had a lovely 2 course lunch at a pub, continued walking home, had a nice cup of tea and final piece of buirthday cake, then we parted company.

I received some nice gifts from them both, a lovely box of Body Shop products and a Squadron 42 tee shirt:

I also received a belated Christmas present (they were too small) of some gaiters for wet/muddy walking. All in all, a good start to the new week.
